3. Master Liability Release

MASTER LIABILITY WAIVER & TERMS OF SERVICE

This Agreement is between the Client and Artempi, LLC dba Zen Paws Retreat Mobile Groomers, including its authorized representatives Paola Intriago and Xavier Intriago.

1. Assumption of Risk: Grooming involves inherent risks. Client releases all liability arising from the grooming process.
2. Matted Coat Policy: Shave-downs risk injury. Client permits shave-downs if coat is severely matted, assumes all risks, and releases liability for skin irritation or nicks.
3. Behavioral Issues: Client assumes strict liability for bites/injuries inflicted upon Zen Paws staff and agrees to fully indemnify.
4. Flea/Tick Policy: Client consents to treatment with a flea bath or tablet if parasites are found, for an additional fee.
5. Emergency Medical Care: Client authorizes Zen Paws to seek veterinary care at owner's expense if an emergency occurs.
6. Appointment & Cancellation: Client acknowledges policies for late arrivals, no-shows, and 24/48-hour cancellation fees.

3. Legal Waiver & Release

MASTER LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE, AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

This Agreement is entered into by the undersigned pet owner/guardian (“Client”) and Artempi, LLC d/b/a Zen Paws Retreat Mobile Groomers, its owners Paola Intriago and Xavier Intriago, employees, agents, and independent contractors (collectively “Released Parties”).

1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability: Client acknowledges that mobile pet grooming involves inherent risks including (but not limited to) cuts, nicks, clipper burn, quicking of nails, stress-induced medical events, allergic reactions, and injury from matted coat removal. Client voluntarily assumes ALL risks and releases the Released Parties from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from the grooming service.

2. Matted Coat / Shave-Down Policy: Client authorizes a full shave-down if matting is severe and releases the Released Parties from liability for clipper burn, skin irritation, or discovery of underlying medical conditions.

3. Behavioral & Injury Indemnification: Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any injury (including bites) caused by Client’s pet to any groomer, staff, or third party, including all medical costs, lost wages, and attorney fees.

4. Emergency Veterinary Care: Client authorizes Zen Paws to seek emergency veterinary care and agrees to pay all costs.

5. No-Refund / Cancellation Policy: All services are non-refundable. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a $50 fee.

6. Media Consent: Client grants perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license for Zen Paws to use pet photos/videos for marketing.

7. Arbitration & Governing Law: Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida under AAA rules. Client waives jury trial and class actions. This Agreement is governed by Florida law.

8. Electronic Signature: By typing my full name below, I acknowledge I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to this entire document.

I have read and agree to the Master Liability Waiver for Artempi, LLC dba Zen Paws Retreat Mobile Groomers. I consent to Zen Paws taking before/after photos of my pet for groomer records and social media.
